About the artist
Veronica Vega
Veronica was born in Chile, a beautiful country in South America.
She comes from an artistic family; a mother with a passion for singing and a father with a passion for the arts. Because of the creativeness and artistic influences around her, she developed the love for the art, going through different areas since she was a child, such as singing, dancing, making all kind of crafts, photography, designing jewelry, accessories and clothes for women.She became an interior designer when she finished her school years, creating different decorative items for many homes and industries.
Later on in her life, she began applying all of her experiences from all the influences in life to her passion that is now painting.
Coming into America made her go through deep experiences that made her realize she wants to be an artist for life.
Veronica once said, “I have a real passion for this country [USA] and all the diversity we can find here, it opens a whole world of expression and makes me feel I can reach anything I want in my life…I’m very grateful to be here.”
All the colors in her paintings (which are all mixed and prepare by her for her silk work, not bought ready) show the happiness, expressions, and liveliness of living life. Veronica believes that we can create our own worlds with anything and everything we love. That is exactly what she does with her paintings.
“Creating, designing and art for me are a real passion trying to capture the beauty of this world on all my creations through the colors of my pallets. Keeping my eyes in the bright side of everything, the textures and colors of anything in this Earth take me to different places in my mind, allowing me to make the things I do. My form of expression can come after reading a book, meditation, dreams, watching a movie, a life situation or as simple as looking at anything that captivates my imagination".
